Facebook not working on my proxy site

Im using Glype proxy. When tryin to access facebook . i get rendered with the following error:

name lookup timed out

What could have caused this?

Any advice would be deeply acknowledged.

"name lookup timed out" is usually a DNS error.

Yeah i did fix it up , by adding a resolv.conf to my /etc folder and adding facebook and its ip. But that didnt solve the problem.


I changed the connection time out to 60 sec instead of 5 ....And it made facebook open at http://www.facebook.com/home.php? .. but at this point it stucks.

Any facebook working proxy ?

I've mostly used PHProxy, and Facebook was working on phProxy for awhile. They might have changed facebook a bit, but you could still check.

Facebook may be trying to make moves to block proxies due to abuse.

Yes i do I agree with you guys I have tried other proxies for facebook but still not working so I tried Jb's proxy and it worked thanks again!
