Where do you mostly use proxies?

As the title says; where do you mostly use proxies?
I mostly use proxies at school and at my job as they've blocked several of my favorite websites; FaceBook, YouTube, etc.
But these days they've started to block proxies too, so I had to make a VPN connection to my computer at home so that I could use that computer to get on FaceBook instead .

Umm, I barely use proxies no-a-days now actually, but when I was in school, I used a proxy for everything that was blocked and I had a desire to look at..

Myspace, facebook, Craigslist.. ect.

When I used to work as a accountant websites like FaceBook, YouTube, Myspace, Hi5 ect were blocked.
So i had to use proxies to open them. That was the first time I actually found out what proxies were. Now I don't really have to use them.

I use to do it when i got a job to register emails and sent it to my client,because it is difficult to open many id without proxy.
